Nobukazu Watanabe (Yosai) 1872-1944

Meiji period printmaker being born as Shimada Jiro. The most briliant student of Chikanobu Toyohara.
Nobukazu is known for his prints depicting Sino-Japanese war as well as Emperor Meiji. He designed prints of Beauty (Bijin-ga), the series includes 'Accomplishment of Ladies' of young women arranging flowers or performing tea ceremony.
