Shunkō II Katsukawa (Shunsen) 1762-1830

Woodblock print designer, porcelain decorator. Initially student of Tsutsumi Torin III, later Katsukawa Shunei. Known for his bijin-ga (images of beautiful women), genre scenes and landscapes. Active as printmaker until the late 1820's, he lates switched to  decorating porcelain and changed his name from Shunsen to Shunkō II.
