Series One Hundred Famous Views of Edo

One of the amazing snow scenes depicted by Hiroshige I. It seems that there were many food stalls before the Bikuni bridge. You can see the sign on the left side of the print, Yamakujira. Yama (山) means mountain and kujira (鯨) is whale, but in fact that means boar meat/brawn dish such as boar meat stew. And there are some dogs on the right waiting for a tiny share.
