Hiroshi and his son Toshi were keen travellers and took inspiration from their exotic excursions. Shin-hanga, the modern way of producing woodblock prints to which this print belongs, has introduced experimentation and innovation to the traditional sphere of woodblock printing. As such, there are two versions of this print available - the day version and the night version.
