Bitchu is located on the Inland Sea side of western Honshū, which is today the western region of Okayama prefecture. Go Gorge is well known for the strange granite rock formations and the scenic beauty which attract many visitors, especially in autumn.

The small figures depicted on the bottom right and left of the print highlight the stunning nature. Hiroshige adopted the bokashi (gradation) technique on the water, a contrivance to emphasize the depth of the river.

Very good; margin trimmed and replaced, small restoration on right bottom corner
