Description

Mid 19th Century

A smart suzuribako with integral suiteki and an ink stone, decorated with hiramakie, takamakie and okibirame techniques. Flock of cranes decorates the lid. Inside image of pine trees, waterfall and tortoise. Cranes and tortoise are known as symbols of longevity.



Condition


Very good. Slight wornout of the golden gilt, especially on the sides.
